I know that dressing for PE may be a school policy but, we have all had those days were we forgot to bring cloths or just did not have such a great day. I know some students fail gym because they choose not to dress. I understand the safety concerns with wearing the correct apparel, but what if the students who didn't dress wanted to still participate in class. Is there a way that these students could participate? I feel if they want to be active as educators we should. What do you think??? |

I know this feeling of points for PE. Many students get 5 points a day for class, but 3 or 4 of them is for dressing, and not activity. As future educators, we could try to stress dressing for class, but not make the student fail if they aren't dressing, but in fact we should encourage it by maybe a bonus point or two, or a free day. This way students will want to participate in order to earn a free day. Maybe try that out! |
