I know from my experience, many teachers do not grade on skill or performance in physical education classes. When you are in a core subject such as math, you get graded on how well you understand the material and how well you perform on the tests. If you are bad at math, you will get a bad grade, but if you are good in math, you will get a good grade. Most physical education class grades are based off of dress code and attendance, is this fair. Do you think more physical education teachers should grade sometimes off of skill and performance, to challenge the students and to actually make students put an effort into physical education classes? |
