Does after school programs work? Are there students interested in them? What age group would work best? I can see high school not working because students just want to leave. Has anyone set up an after school program? |

I feel that high school students are not interested in after school programs. I feel you are right and students just want to go home and hang out with their friends or sleep more. We need to show the students that after school programs will help your resume and keep them active. I believe that students have the feeling they don't need that extra work on their resume. They don't seem to understand how hard it is to get a job and be in the world alone by themselves. |

I feel that there are some high school students who are not interested in after school programs, but there are some high school students who are interested because they do not want to try out for a sports team and not make the team. Most after school programs work for middle schools or elementary school students. Middle school and high school students are most likely to participate because they cannot play sports after school at some schools. |
