I am a physical education major and in many of my classes many of my peers either can't do the physical activities because they are too out of shape, or many of them have trouble doing easy warm up activities for the same reason.

I am a big supporter of the healthy role model phys. ed. teacher. Should a student have to pass fitness testing in order to graduate as a physical education major?

I completely agree. I am all about "practicing what you preach" and I feel that if we are going to stress to our students the importance of eating healthy and staying active, then we need to be eating healthy and staying physically active as well!
