Ther are so many different ways to grade students in Physical Education class; for example dressing, participation, and attitude, but what specific areas or what are the most important areas to grade as a Physical Educator? |

Hello, I just posted a few thoughts about grading on physical education 1/23/09. I know in our district they want us to grade on the standards: Personal and Social Development Skills, Motor Skills and Movement Patterns, Physical Activity and Fitness. Personally I think the most important is to make sure the students know the various methods to keep them healthy for life. |

I agree. You can grade the students for dressing apprpriately and participation but to me thats to easy anyone could dress and participate for an easy A. You should grade the students on their locomotor skills, proper activity/fittness performances, and also grade them on what they learned from you such as things they should do to maintain a healthy lifestyle so they can live a longer healthier life.
