Zumba is something new and exciting that is starting to be incorporated into the PE curriculum (Zumba fitness-teens/adults and Zumbatomic-children). Zumba is a way to get those that do you not like running laps for however long up and moving. The music and movement is very upbeat. The students are learning the basic steps of Cumbia, Reggaeton, Merenge, and Salsa. Do you think that dance should be incorporated into the PE classroom why or why not? And should a physical educator be allowed to teach dance?
