I'm a junior in college and a lot of my professors tell me how there is so much grant money out there for PE programs (for equipment and materials). I've been told that a lot of people don't take advantage of it or try to get the money. I'm wondering where you even begin to look for these grants and how hard it is to get them? If anyone has tried to recieve them, some feedback and tips on this subject would be great! |

Good News!! My co-workers and I wrote for a grant and recently found out that we got it. It was a Highmark Healthy High 5 Grant. Do a search for it on-line and you will find the application. You just need to have an idea for a K-12 program. It is not hard to complete the application. If you talk to administration sometimes they will give you time during an in-service to work on it. The Highmark grant is for up to $10,000. Best wishes! |
