am looking for a web site that offers hs level written assignments. we have kids who need to make up classes and there aren't enough classes available for them. any help is appreciated. |

PE Central has a lesson on the winter olympics for the HS level. It is under the 6-12 lesson plans then look under interdisplinary lessons. |

I taught a swimming unit at a high school. I had all the students who did not dress out for PE do a written assignment. Many of them were PE related. Is this what you had in mind? Or did you want a longer paper, thus a more involved topic? |

At the elementary level, I had student write observations of other students in class. The heading included why they were sitting out and observing class. Some times I had specific behaviors they were looking for and other times it was to give written feedback to help the student they were observing to improve on the skill they were working on. The younger students drew pictures of what they observed. These papers were kept in a student folder. There were some interesting observations... |
