Our District is in the process of implementing a newly established wellness policy. One difference of opinion we had in forming the policy was that of witholding recess as punishment for things they did in the classroom. Also keeping the kids in to do homework that was not done the night before. This is really the only thing that teachers can hold over the students. Are there any other things that can be done instead of withholding recess? |
