One things I am worried about when I get into the classroom is working with students who do not have proper clothing to do Physical Education in. I know that the last new thing that most under privileged children get are shoes and shoes are important in phys ed. What would be the best way to help a student who does not have proper shoes or means of getting shoes that are not dangerous or the student could get hurt wearing?

You might want to try asking different organizations for donations, such as goodwill, local churches, or even the sport coaches at your high-school. I know that when we had to buy shoes for basketball the shoes were highly discounted.
