I currently use 5 fitness stations as part of my warm-up activities for my 3rd and 4th grade classes. They include the dot drill, agility ladder, abdominal training, jump ropes, and wall squats. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for activites that focus on cardio endurance or muscular endurance that can be done with limited equipment in a small amount of space. I would like to come up with enough activities to switch them every month or so. |

First thing, maybe play different tag games every once in a while because 3rd and 4th graders do not want to do stations every class. They need a mixture of warm ups to keep them interested in activity so they put forth full effort. Carb walking is fun and can help with both those elements. |

Pushups, jumping jacks, and bear crawl all come to my mind when I think of body weight exercise. Like Katie said there are many warm-up games out there that work on the two HRF components that you listed. Also pecentral.com has tons of info on warm-ups. Mixing up the class seems to always be a good thing! Having students performing different challenges keeps the student's interest. |

The fitness stations are a great idea, i would personally add tumbling on mats and other body weight exercises. |
