At the school I am student teaching, certain students NEVER dress. This reflect their grade, but these students just don't care. I was wondering if there is anyone who knows how to motivate them to dress or a different approach to take because deducting points from their grade isn't working? |

At our school we have a Three B's system. You bring your own active wear, you buy a t-shirt and shorts from us, or you borrow a suit and use until you do one of the other options. We get the loaner back or they will be charged for it. Not dressing is not an option. Hope this helps. Cheryl |

That is a fantastic way to get your students' to dress Cheryl! A way our school did it is that if a student continuously did not dress or showed signs of carelessness, they would be sent to the library to do a research assignment on a physical education related topic. This seemed to do the trick for those reluctant students as they came around eventually and started dressing/participating. |
