We are doing some basketball now and I teach them all in a group how to shoot a ball correctly. I even have a few balls with the hands painted on for hand position. I then teach them the game "around the world" to practice shooting and I walk around correcting and observing. Last year I added something to it and the really love it. After the go around the world and back I let them do the "preasure shot" to win. They can shoot from anywhere but all the other kids can hoot and hollar at them as they take the shot. They all like it. |
