I've done golf a few times. I haven't done it in the last 3-4 years because I was worried that my classes would hurt each other (lack of trust for the kids to do the correct thing). When we worked on it I had old golf clubs and specifically used the irons. I set up a mini driving range with a safety zone where the rest of the people would stand. The biggest thing was that I used whiffle golf balls. This would reduce the risk of golf balls flying everywhere and hurting or breaking things. When I've done golf I've used very specific directions/rules on using the equipment safely. The biggest is to only swing the clubs in the hitting zone and without anyone around. I've never done more than just the driving range as I don't have enough space to set up a course. I've also made some good sized holes during the unit so you may want to put down some carpet squares or something to hit on top of. Hope this helps... |
