I am looking for a Happy Healthy Heart Booklet for my K-2 elementary students. I have seen the one on PE Central. Does anyone have any other booklets or suggestions? |

At Seldens Landing Elementary all students have a 3 lesson unit on Heart Healthy concepts. All the lessons teach heart concepts and physical activity through stations, circuits and games. |

A great resource for heart month is the American Heart Association's Heart Power lesson plans. http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?ident ifier=3003324 This month all our lessons are related to the heart. We use HRM's, the Heart Adventure Course, etc. I always enjoy this month. |

Any suggestions for a coaches challenge after a successful Jump Rope for Heart Event? We have kissed pigs, shaved heads and will be slimed for a different fundraiser. We are looking for something bigger and better as we are challenging our students to raise $40,000! |

Making an interactive bulletin board with hearts and how blood travels through with examples of cardio activities are good ideas. |
