I would like to write a grant about rollerblading and implement it into our curriculum. We have just gone through renovations and have just installed a brand new gym floor. Because of this, our administration is a little hesitant about the skates and what they would do to the floor. Has anyone used the rollerblades? Any information about them at all?

Go with the skate in school package. They have wheels that are gym floor friendly. It is a great program that includes all safety equipment as well. Also check out the Skate Pass skateboards. They are also popular with the middle and high school kids.
