Is is acceptable to teach leisure games in schools? Games such as horseshoes, bocce, shuffleboard, etc?

Personally, I think its good to teach all types of games. I've done a modified version of horseshoes with bean bags. I've taught bocce ball as well. I think that if we only teach leasure games than fitness development will not be beneficial. I think that these games might teach lifelong activities that someone could participate in.

I think it is very important to at least get into the basics of leisure games. These are the types of games students will be playing for the rest of their lives. They need to know how these games are played and what the rules are so they can remain active for a very long time.
