Students should have to attend school the day of their game because it shows responsibility for their academics. If a student does not show up for school the day of the game they should not be allowed to play that day. If they are sick there is no need for that student to get even worse by participating in their game. I don't really see a good excuse for a student to be able to bring in for why they were absent. I feel this may motivate the academically struggling athletes to show up to school more often. |
