When it rains some high school softball coaches cancel practice because they feel as if indoor practice does not accomplish anything. However i view it as a great time to focus on hitting. My gym has a curtain to divide it in half. Tees and fungo stations would be set up closely to the curtain and the players would just hit into the curtain. We would use light flight or incredaball softballs to not damage anything. We also used this as a time to film a players' swing as well as hit light flight softballs fed through our JUGS light flight pitching machine on the other side of the gym. Any thoughts? Could it be negative for there swing development? |
