Would using steroids and baseball really be that beneficial to the players? For batters, steroids wont increase your ability to see the ball, just make it go farther. You still need to have the athleticism to hit the ball. |

Being a baseball player my entire life i feel like i have some good insight into this question. I have been around players who have experimented with steroids and what you see is astounding. First and foremost to be a baseball player you have got to be a player. Your right, you cannot just shoot up steroids and magically be an all star player. When it comes to players who are already in the game though, steroids can turn a mediocre player into a big shot. Steroids help with strength, speed, and power that a player has and can take him to the next level. But a player has to have the underlying skill set and be good player in the first place for steroids to effect his game. |
