Nadia, I think its clear that you have proven yourself in all aspects as a coach and a wrestler. You have just as much experience as a male coach would I don't how gender would matter or that it would be a reason not to coach. Sure, I am sure as a female coach, possibly coaching all males you will face many challenges that a male coach coaching males would not face. However, you have extensive practice in wrestling you are not a new comer, you are knowledgable about wrestling and apparently you have proven yourself because your former coach recommended that you take over for him when he leaves/retires. I believe you will face criticism as a female wrestling coach but if its what you love and what you want to do I say GO FOR IT! |
