Should athletes be held to a higher standard than other students in class? I understand that they can perform at a higher level but should they be penalized for this? |

I think that the teacher should not expect them to perform at a higher level, but being an athlete myself, I expect myself to be at a higher level. The athlete should want to perform at a higher level than their classmates. So all in all, they should not be penalized and held to higher expectations from the teacher. |

I agree, i also dont believe that the teacher should expect them to perform at a higher level, however i do expect them to help other classmates who are not as skilled, or are new to a skill to help them out. I would tell them privately to be a leader in the class during the lesson. |
