What is a good age to start coaching to receive the right amount of respect from your players? |

I think that it depends on the age group that you are coahing, if you are coaching high school i can't see why u couldnt coach at the age of 23 or 24. Sure this is a young age but i think that the players might have more respect for you because you are closer in age and can relate to the players better. |

younger coaches tend to have more of a drill sergeant approach in an attempt to beat the respect out of them. i started coahcing high school at 19, and i found this out over the first 3 seasons. if a younger coach can hold himself to a higher standard and keep cool composure, he'll get that respect. be an alpha-male, not a bully. |

I think it is good to be a young coach because from my experience i connect more with them because i feel they were just in my position as a player. |
