In middle school, my coach had us shoot 100 free throws in one practice to help us improve our shot. It is a critical part of the game and it definitely helped us but it was very time consuming. Does anyone know another effective way to practice and become accurate at free throws?

A great way to help young athletes improve their free throws is to start each practice by having each player pick a partner and have each one have to make 5 free throws in a row and then have their partner do the same. It typically does not take up too much time and is not only a great way to improve free throws, but also is a great way to warm up before practice.
