As a coach, I believe that it is crucial for your job to find a way to create team unity. A team can only reach its peak performance if everyone is on the same page and gets along with one another. If players are constantly fighting with one another or they start forming their own cliques within a team, then that can make for a very long, disappointing season. So how does a coach go by creating chemistry between their players? You could plan team trips to various locations or even have team picnics. As long as the team is able to provide funding for the activities, the coach should try to find ways to brings the players closer together. |

Hey, Being a Legion Baseball Coach in the summer, I feel as a coach, it is a good thing to interact with your players. In my aspect with Baseball, I try to take my boys to a MLB game, or even get them all together at a house, and teach them the game from the Television, show them little things that can improve their skills everytime they step onto the field. |

A easy cheap way to create team unity is trust activities. Such as trust lean, this is where you three people stand in a line, the middle person crosses there hand and locks their things pulling thier arms to their chest and give the comands "ready to fall" the catchers respond by saying "ready to catch" the faller then says "falling" responed by "catching" when the faller hears this they know they can fall safely. Make shure your athelets take this serious because someone could get seriously injured. There are several other trust activities that can be done. There are also some that make your team work together to achieve a goal. |
