Please give feedback regarding your favorite fitness testing tool (President's Challenge, Fitnessgram, etc.) and tell why it's "the best" in your mind. I teach K-3 so I would like to hear from other Health Enhancement teachers that work with that age. Thanks much for your input. Stephanie |

My email address is incorrect in this old profile so please send me some feedback regarding the topic of fitness testing. Use this address though. spaine@wolfpoint.k12.mt.us Thanks, Stephanie |

As an undergraduate student majoring in Physical Education, I have been taught that Fitnessgram is more effective that any other fitness testing tool. Fitnessgram compares scores to carefully researched and developed health standards rather than to national averages. Also, it emphasizes on health-related physical fitness instead of performances of physical or sport-related skills. When I would observe fitness testing in Elementary schools, they would use the Fitnessgram as well. |
