Heart Rate Monitors now come in many flavors. This is a discussion or debate about whether to use heart rate monitors with or without a strap based on the views expressed (or will be expressed) in the January 2006 Technology Section of PElinks4u.org.

Has anybody used the strapless monitors? I was thinking about getting some for my elementary students because I thought they would be easier than dealing with chest straps. If you have used them, please post your thoughts and opinions. Thanks
