We never used any gaming systems in our school until my senior year. Personally, I think that is a good idea because it gives students something to look forward to because this generation many kids are obsessed with video games. How we used them in our PE classes, is our class would be split in different sections and while one section was working on lifting or abs, another would be playing a small game or using the gaming systems for Wii fit and DDR. A lot students really enjoyed these activities. So I think that it is a good idea.

I really like the idea of using game consoles for physical education. Using games is a great way to keep younger children entertained, they'll be having too much fun to even realize they are exercising. We also use a Wii fit system in the Athletic Training room at the college I attend. Using these consoles for rehabilitation purposes has also proven very beneficial.
