I've been thinking about getting the Nike shoes that have the IPOD technology in them. I was just wondering if any has experienced them and whether they are a waste or actually helpful. Thanks |

Hey Kim, I work for Nike and from what they are telling us, this techonology is pretty neat. It shows your progress in a software program on your computer, it lets you know how long and far you've ran compared to how long it took you the previous times. Along with having your favorite music to help you keep pace. I mean if you have the money and you like to run for a work out I would say its worth a shot. |

The shoes are definatly worth it, if you're a runner. They're not effective on elipticals or bikes. I have taken mine to volleyball games and different things to track my progress too, like how many calories I burned and how many steps I took. It's definatly a great little toy, if you're looking to do more than just use machines. |

My nephew uses the Nike shoes with the iPod, He stores his data online and it tracks how his workouts are going. It is definately worth the cost. It would be nice if Nike made them in small sneaks too!! |

I think that Apple and Nike have a great idea, however, I do not think that Nike shoes are the best for running. I'm hoping Apple shares the idea with other brands of shoes. |
