Of the schools out there who are using POLAR products, what have your experiences been with the company and its products. My school has purchased a large amount from them (PE manager, HRM's, TriFIT etc) and are having many problems specifically with the company and the software. Any thoughts? |

I think they are great when they are working. We just need some training on how best to use them. Our older students use them a lot and they find that they inform their training a great deal. |

We bought 24 Polar Heart rate monitors after hearing Beth Kirkpatrick speak about 10 years ago. Since then we have had no contact with Polar. I have replaced multiple batteries and had at least 10 of them sent back for repairs. Each time they send me a new watch (trade in's) they have a different monitor and strap (do not match any others I have). It is nearly impossible to get an entire class in and out of them in 40 minutes, not to mention trying to write down time in the zone. The kids do not like the chest strap and complain alot. Mostly now we have kids wear them and just keep on eye on where their heart is at. If I would doing it over I would not get so many, and I would not buy Polar. |
