I have actually played Dance Dance Revolution in the past and have found it to be fun and physically challenging. This game involves the player to follow a set of directions that follow the beat of a song. It involves coordination. There is also a mode on the game that you can switch it to that will offer a game that involves racing someone on the computer. The way you race them is by pumping your feet as fast as you can on the foot pad. This game can be tiring after awhile. I think Dance Dance Revolution would be fun to introduce to your class. It will get them excited because they will think they are playing a video game, but at the same time they will be physically active. I know kids that get so into it, they will play till they are sweating and out of breathe. |

From personal experience, I know that doing DDR can make you break a sweat and I think it is a great way to be physically active and have fun at the same time. You can get everyone moving and having fun even if they are not on a dance pad. Students will enjoy this activity and have fun dancing to the music and I think it would be a great idea to use in physical education class. |

Looking to purchase Dance Dance Revolution. Need info on which model is the best and the most durable. Will be used by large classes and high volume of students. |

I have played DDR many times and it is fun but also physically demanding. I think DDR is an excellent activity to show to your students, they will like it so much they will buy the game and get a work out at home!! |

I have played this game also played this game. while it is a good activity, I just think it might also have a negative effect. They might hear it as its ok to play video games we did it in gym. I just don't think that it should be in the class. Do the real thing. Teach them dancing. |
