I personally believe that safe sex practices should be taught, but I know that some school still require an abstinence based curriculum. What do you belive should be taught, and do you have any suggestions on how to push for a safe sex curriculun in an abstinence only school? |

I would make sure I have some security in my job before I would try something like that and if you are in the bible belt (some deep south locations) you can forget it pretty much, Of course teens should be given information but we still have dont ask dont tell just DONT people giving birth. |

Teach students about safe sex methods but make sure you let them know that the sure fire way to protect against pregnance and STD's is abstinence. Their is no other method that provides 100% protection. |
