Is having high school PE classes take a backpacking trip a good idea? The trip doesn't necessarily have to be an overnight thing. |

I think that backpacking would be a great idea in PE. I just took a backpacking for the first time in one of my college classes and found it to be a great experience. It is a great opportunity to experience something new and is a great workout. I feel that having a trip would be best if taken at a senior level. |

I think this would be great if the school district has the funding. Also this should only be done in the secondary class room. It would also have some thing to do with how much parent involment you have in your school district. |
