The gym that I use to teach my physical education classes is very slick. The floor is made of tarten/chip board I believe. I was wondering if anyone knows of any kind of a surfacing material that can be put on the top of the floor to make it "sticky." Of course not so sticky that if I child fell it would stop them on a dime, but more of a wood floor sticky feel. Thanks for any advice |

Years ago I read of a technique of using 7-up in a spray bottle set on "fine spray" and spraying a slick dance floor to reduce slickness. It emphasized "fine spray" and not to use too much. The author swore by this technique. I have not had the need to try it, but considering what soda does to movie theater floors it's worth a try. Plus it is easy to clean off. Good Luck. |
