I am a huge fan of cycling, and I was wondering if anyone has integrated a bicycling program into their school’s curriculum. How would I go about getting the resources to start a program like this and how much money would it take to make this a reality. |

A lot of students have their own bike, and are willing to bring them in to use. Some students will even let other kids from other classes use their bike. That way not every kid has to have a bike. Make sure every kid wears a helmet though, and you will need two teachers to ride with, one at the front of the line and one at the back. |

I know people that teach the unit with scooters in the gym. they set-up a course, have street signs, cross walks etc. and they go through it and stop at different stations for fitness and skills while practicing road safety. Kids love it! |
