I would talk to your principal first. Technically, video taping for educational reasons is acceptable but some parents might not like the practice. It might be worth a letter to your parents explaining why you are video taping and what you are going to do with the videos once you have finished using them.
While using the videos I don't know what kind of equipment you are going to use. I would think about how to distribute/collect the equipment. Are you going to use a tripod or just hold the camcorder? If it is a piece of equipment that students would like to have themselves (like an IPod) you might want to find a way to make it obvious that its your equipment so it is not stolen. |
