 Editorial

We have collected some articles that are written by our fellow teachers in the field. I am sure that you will all find something that you can use in your teaching. If there is something else that you would like to see, let us know!

There are also some web sites here that you can check out to see if they can be useful to you and your students.

In many parts of the country, the fall brings unpredictable weather. The change of seasons often leads to changing plans at a moment's notice. As a result, we often need to have activities planned that can be used both outside and inside.

Some of us prefer to keep our students in the gym, especially in the fall. We may feel that they are not ready to handle the open spaces that an athletic field or playground area would offer. Others of us want to keep them outside as long as possible, before the weather forces us inside for another long winter. Finally, for some of us, the weather is not a real factor in our planning. If you are in the latter group, then this article is not for you. If you fall into one of the other two groups, then I may have some "flexible" ideas for you to consider.
